Website for Government Benefits Information Changing to USA.gov

For more than 20 years, Benefits.gov has been the official U.S. government website for information about federal and state resources and programs. Beginning this September, this site is being discontinued and federal government benefits information will be available on USA.gov. Like Benefits.gov, this new resource for government benefits information allows web visitors to search for food assistance, housing help, health insurance, and more. The associated sites, GovLoans.gov and SSA BEST (SSABEST.Benefits.gov), will also be shut down. Loan information will be featured on USA.gov’s grants and loans page, and Social Security information and eligibility requirements on the Social Security Administration’s webpages. More information can be found on the Benefits.Gov webpage announcing that Your Home for Government Benefits Information is Changing to USA.gov!
