On September 16, 2024 from 8:30 to 9:30 pm ET, Tele-Support Talk: Seeing Beyond – Griffin Pinkow’s Journey of Resilience and Impact brings participants the story of Pinkow’s transition from “a healthy teenager to gradually losing sight.” He will share how he dealt with the diagnosis of retinitis pigmentosa (RP), a degenerative disease of the retina. Accepting that “he couldn’t change the fate of his vision,” Pinkow has focused on overcoming the challenges of his vision impairment and has dedicated his own efforts to “helping the visually impaired lead fulfilling lives” and to raising public awareness.
