Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation’s (RDPFS) Board of Directors is pleased to announce Soja Orlowski as our new Executive Director, effective October 7, 2024. Soja joins us after ten years at the Worldwide Fistula Fund (WFF), a global women’s health funder with partnerships in sub-Saharan Africa, where she held the hybrid role of Executive Director-Grant Officer-Advancement Officer. Prior to joining WFF, Soja was a consultant to metropolitan Chicago nonprofit organizations for nine years.
“We’re so enthusiastic to have Soja leading our organization. She has the executive skills and nonprofit experience to help RDPFS build on our work to strengthen the blind and visually impaired community,” said Matthew Krieger, RDPFS Board Chair. Soja will be charged with advancing our mission to foster the independence of people who are blind and visually impaired and increasing the overall impact of RDPFS grant making and programs.
Soja holds an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Illinois. Please join us in welcoming Soja to our organization.
