Series on “Jewish Poetry as a Path for Access and Resilience” Offered Online and In Person: November 9, 2024

“Walking the Narrow Bridge: Jewish Poetry as a Path for Access and Resilience,” a three-part series, will be launched on November 9, 2024 at 5:30 pm ET. Hosted by JBI and Central Synagogue, this fully accessible poetry reading and discussion will feature poets Ed Hirsch, MacArthur Fellow and poet; and Jessica Jacobs, poet and Founder of the organization Yetzirah: A Hearth for Jewish Poetry, speaking with Rabbi Sivan Rotholz of Central Synagogue. The poets’ works are available upon request in braille, audio, or large print for all participants upon registering. To receive the event’s materials ahead of time in hard copy via mail, register by October 26, 2024, to ensure mail delivery.
