As the Jewish high holidays approach, JBI is offering educational resources for people who are blind or have low vision. On September 10, 2024, at 4 pm via Zoom, “Judaism 101: Intro to Rosh Hashanah” will discuss “new beginnings, repentance, and other” High Holy Day themes. The free session, led by JBI’s Rabbi Andrew Goodman, will be an accessible text study along with group discussion. Those who register will receive texts in braille, large print, or audio formats. JBI is hosting an in-person program as well on September 25, 2024 in New York City on “The Tastes and Sounds of Rosh Hashanah.” Read more here about the JBI Judaism 101 Series. JBI is also making accessible Jewish calendars, prayer books, and other materials available for the holidays in accessible formats.
