VISIONS is collaborating with Global Perspectives, an IQVIA enterprise, to launch a new study on Geographic Atrophy, also known as advanced dry AMD (age-related macular degeneration). This study seeks to understand patients’ views and preferences regarding treatments for this condition. No treatments will be administered; the study aims to gather opinions only. To ensure that those with advanced dry AMD can participate, a virtual moderator can complete the survey on their behalf, sharing the survey in large font size or by reading study materials aloud. Eligible candidates who participate will receive $75 as compensation for completing the 40-minute online survey. Participants are also encouraged to provide confirmation of diagnosis, through a doctor’s letter, proof of treatment, or other documentation, and will receive an additional $50 for that.
