Join in a National Online Dialogue on Making AI Hiring Tools More Inclusive

Many recruiting and hiring technologies currently used in workplaces depend on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Depending on how they are used, AI tools can offer both benefits and risks. The Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy’s (ODEP) Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT) is seeking public input on how AI-enabled hiring tools can be made more inclusive for people with disabilities. PEAT invites participation in this national dialogue, which provides an opportunity to share insights and ideas regarding how employers can increase benefits and manage risk in deploying AI hiring tools, especially for individuals with disabilities. The responses provided will inform PEAT and those collaborating with them to “build a Profile on Inclusive Hiring” based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s AI Risk Management Framework (AIRMF). Those wishing to join in the dialogue need to login (or register if new to this system) and provide input by March 11, 2024. To learn more and submit ideas, visit InclusiveAI.IdeaScale.com.
