The School-Based Health Alliance, in partnership with the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved and the National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health at Prevent Blindness, will be hosting a webinar seeking to increase “access to vision health services for school-age children and adolescents.” This program, taking place on October 9, 2024 from 1 to 2 pm ET, will highlight common vision conditions among young people and provide examples of various types of school-based vision care programs, with presenters sharing strategies to eliminate barriers to care. The webinar, offered via Zoom, is supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
