Adaptive Athletics Grant Workshop Being Held on October 10, 2024

The Challenged Athlete Foundation and the Foreseeable Future Foundation provide a number of grants and scholarships to help individuals with vision loss and other disabilities pursue their athletic goals. On October 10, 2024 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm ET, Lighthouse Guild will be hosting its second workshop to “inform and connect the blind and low vision community with financial resources” they offer. Representatives from both organizations will speak about what athletes need to know to apply for financial assistance, including deadlines, qualifications, and grant amounts. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions as well. Those wishing to attend this event, being held online and live in New York City, need to register in advance.
