Tomorrow, December 10, 2024: Virtual Seminar – Explore Careers in Vision Studies/Rehabilitation

“Have you ever thought about turning your passion for making a difference into a rewarding career?” On December 10, 2024 from 3:05 to 4 pm ET, the Carroll Alumni and Families program is hosting a virtual session to explore the professional disciplines available in the field of vision studies. Attendees will learn about specific career opportunities, including Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI), Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS), Vision Rehabilitation Therapist (VRT), and more. Specifics regarding education and training, the work involved, hours, compensation, and career growth opportunities will be covered. The presenter will be Laura Bozeman, professor and director of the Vision Studies Program at UMass Boston.
