College students and recent graduates with a disability are invited to submit applications for the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) 2025 database. WRP provides an opportunity for career development and gaining work experience in the Federal Government, using the enrollees’ “skills and talents to serve the public.” Those participating in the WRP are included in a database that managers use to hire for internships or permanent federal employment. Through the WRP website, applications and resumes for those participating will be available to employers for one year. Employers can contact candidates directly about potential positions. The program is open to current full-time undergraduate or graduate students with disabilities as well as recent graduates who received a degree on or after April 1, 2022 from a U.S. accredited college or university. Applicants register online through schools participating in the WRP. The school’s disability services or career services coordinator can advise the student if their school is participating in the WRP. If not, the school can contact the WRP Program Managers at [email protected]. Registration for the 2025 database closes on October 15, 2024. For more information about the program and how to register, visit the WRP webpage detailing What Is the WRP?
