Veterans can now review, refill, and check the status of prescriptions dispensed through the VA (U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs) from their mobile devices thanks to a new Prescription Refill feature added recently to the VA Health and Benefits Mobile Application. To gain access to this feature, existing users of the app need to download the app’s latest version. More than a million Veterans have downloaded the app, with additional users expected in the future. The Health and Benefits mobile app is the “VA’s official all-in-one, on-the-go, easy-to-use, accessible, on-demand app,” making it possible for Veterans to manage their VA healthcare and benefits services “from their fingertips.” For additional details, read the Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) webpage announcing the VA Mobile App Adds Feature.
