ELECTS NEW BOARD CHAIR
Matthew Krieger elected Board Chair of Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation
Mt. Kisco, NY, March 29, 2019– Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation, a national grant-making public charity, is pleased to announce that Matthew Krieger has been elected Board Chair. Mr. Krieger succeeds Donna Esposito, who concluded her service as Board Chair in December, and remains on the Board as Trustee.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to assume the position of Board Chair,” said Mr. Krieger. “Since joining the Board in 2008, it has been my pleasure to serve alongside a truly engaged and dedicated group of people who take very seriously our commitment to improving quality of life for blind and visually impaired individuals. Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight has driven significant change in the field and has become a leading advocate for accessibility for people with disabilities, and equitable and inclusive grant making. I look forward to many more years of continued growth and meaningful contributions to the field.”

Mr. Krieger is a technologist and executive with experience in IT, manufacturing and publishing. He is VP of Technology for Cober, Inc. and previously held senior IT leadership positions at Time, Inc. and Reader’s Digest Association. Matt serves on the advisory board of the Baruch College Computer Center for Visually Impaired People, provides Chief Technology Officer guidance to TeenSmart International, is a business mentor with SCORE and is a frequent presenter on topics of business and technology. Matt is also creator of Whysper, a platform allowing the consumption of web content as text-to-speech podcasts.
Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation is dedicated to increasing the self-reliance and dignity of blind and visually impaired persons. We believe these individuals should have the tools and resources necessary to lead independent, productive lives. The Foundation also publishes “Reader’s Digest Select Editions Large Type,” providing top quality large print reading material for people who have trouble reading standard size print.
