Teachers of students with vision impairments (TVIs), orientation and mobility specialists, assistive technology instructors and other professionals work with students who are visually impaired are invited to take a survey designed to address continuing education needs. A partnership of organizations developed the survey as part of an effort to “better meet the assistive technology needs of people who support children, youth, and adults who are blind, have low vision or are deafblind.” Partner organizations include the Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA), the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Educational Professionals (ACVREP), The American Printing House for the Blind (APH), Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER), and The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
