This week marked the annual celebration of National Rehabilitation Counselors Day on March 22, 2023, recognizing the work of Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC). Rehabilitation Counselors help individuals with vision loss and other disabilities to achieve their goals, personally and professionally, and serve as “the bridge between the individual and self-sufficiency, helping their clients live fully integrated lives.” For more information, read the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification webpage on National Rehabilitation Counselors Appreciation Day. We thank rehabilitation counselors for their hard work and dedication throughout the year!
