Veterans offer valuable skills and talents gained from their military service, making them “an attractive talent pool.” More than 40 percent of Veterans post-9/11 have a disability, and many employers “struggle to retain these service men and women.” A discussion on November 9, 2023 from 1 to 2 pm (ET) will cover how businesses can foster an environment where veterans with disabilities can flourish. Luke Visconti, chairman and founder, DiversityInc and chairman of the National Organization on Disability (NOD), will lead the discussion. Read more details on the NOD webpage covering the program: From Deployment to Employment: Hiring and Supporting Veterans with Disabilities. And register for the Zoom program here.
