Led by the U.S. Department of Labor, the Good Jobs Initiative (GJI) focuses on improving job quality and creating access to good positions for all working people, including individuals with disabilities. On October 26, from 2 to 3:30 PM ET, a zoom webinar will explore “The Good Jobs Initiative: Creating Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities.” Those attending will hear from a range of employers and the “people with disabilities they employ in good jobs about their experiences, available supports and the ways that employees with disabilities have benefitted their businesses.” The program is sponsored by the LEAD Center (National Center on Leadership for the Employment and Economic Advancement of People with Disabilities), a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) policy development center. For more information, visit the LEAD Center listing for the webinar on The Good Jobs Initiative: Creating Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities.
