Dedicated to Improving the Lives of Blind and Visually Impaired People

“Creating Accessible Environments for the Blind and Visually Impaired:” A Webinar on Using Talking Signage App: April 10, 2024

“What if signs could talk?” This is at the core of the work of RightHear, whose products provide people who are blind and visually impaired with access to “talking signage,” making it possible for everyone to “interpret and understand their surroundings in real time.” Their app, available free of charge, provides users with audio descriptions of signs and other visuals that are delivered to a smartphone or tablet. On April 10, 2024, at 1 pm ET, a free webinar will explore their audio format system. Participants will be able to “become part of the community that is making more places accessible across the U.S.” For additional information about this program and to register, visit the Zoom webpage for Together We Build: Creating Accessible Environments for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
