Considerations Related to OTC Hearing Aids for Individuals Who are Blind or Have Low Vision: A Webinar on May 17, 2024

With the growing number of older adults with hearing loss in addition to vision loss,  OTC (over-the-counter) hearing aids have been gaining increased attention. OIB-TAC (Older Individuals who are Blind Technical Assistance Center) is hosting a webinar on the topic on May 17, 2024 at 3 pm ET (2 pm CT). Representatives from Helen Keller National Center for DeafBlind Youths and Adults will “discuss appropriateness, accessibility, and information” to help those working with people who are visually impaired understand the pros and cons of these products for their clients.
