“Breakfast with Champions” Event on October 27, 2023 to Celebrate National Blind Sports Month

As reported in a previous issue of this Bulletin, the United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) “empowers Americans who are blind and visually impaired to experience life-changing opportunities in sports, recreation, and physical education activities…”  To advance this goal and recognize National Blind Sports Month, USABA will be hosting the 14^th Annual Breakfast of Champions, being held virtually and in person in Colorado Springs, CO on October 27, 2023. The in-person breakfast begins at 7:30 MT (9:30 ET), with the one-hour live stream program starting at 8 am MT (10 am ET). Program highlights include a dialogue between “two-time Paralympic medalist in goalball Marybal Huking and Paralympic hopeful in blind soccer Ricky Castanada.” Virtual attendance is available at no charge, although donations are suggested.
