The Assistance Technology Industries Association (ATIA) has issued a call for presentations for its 2025 annual conference. ATIA is seeking presentations that share knowledge about and explore questions and issues currently facing the AT community. The program is being planned around nine “strands,” providing the opportunity for participants “to focus on a specific area of interest or need.” These focus areas are: “Aging and AT;” “AT for Physical Access and Participation;” “Augmentative and Alternative Communication;” “Education and Learning: Early Intervention-12/Higher Education;” “Mainstream Accessible Technology;” “Transition and Workplace Accessibility;” “Vision and Hearing Technologies;” “Leadership; Research; Social Inclusion and User Perspectives;” and “AT in the Maker Community.” The conference will be held from January 30 to February 1, 2025.
