Parents and professionals can learn about services available and other resources for students after graduating high school through Perkins School for the Blind’s Transition Talks Family Workshops. This monthly series, held virtually over Zoom and led by Perkins and industry experts, covers the many aspects of transition planning for young adults with disabilities. The next session, being held May 14, 2024 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm ET, will talk about “Opening the door to a Self-Determined Life using Technology.” For additional details and a link to register for the series, visit the Perkins webpage describing their 2023-2024 Transition Talks Family Workshops.
