At its recent meeting, the Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation (RDPFS) Board of Directors approved the awarding of two grants to not-for-profit providers. These latest grants support innovative programs designed to meet the needs of the growing number of older adults experiencing vision loss. Each of these initiatives expands the ability to provide services to the constituencies of their organizations and can potentially serve as models to be replicated among other groups serving the blind and visually impaired (BVI) community. The two grants have been awarded to Vision Link’s Low Vision Direct Services Program and to VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired: Group Rehabilitation for Older Underserved Persons.
