Workforce Recruitment Program Seeks Participation from Colleges and Universities

The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) provides recruitment and referral services free of charge, connecting current college and graduate students as well as recent graduates with disabilities to federal government internships and permanent employment. During the spring, college career services, disability services, and other representatives can register their school for WRP so that their students can apply to the program in the fall. More than 400 institutions of higher education register as WRP recruitment sites for the year on behalf of current and recently graduated students. Each school’s participation, as well as outreach to potential participants, is managed by School Coordinators. Schools can register from the Coordinator page from April through June. Other times of the year, schools wishing to be added to the list can contact WRP Programs Managers at [email protected]. WRP is managed by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and the U.S. Department of Defense.
