Every month, the New York Vision Loss Coalition invites parents in New York and beyond to join in “an evening of resources shared in a safe space.” Each session features a guest speaker who covers a topic related to the needs of youth with vision impairment. This month’s program will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 6 pm ET, when sports enthusiast and founder of the Foreseeable Future Foundation Griffin Pinkow will share his personal experience growing up with vision loss and how he started a nonprofit organization “to help others with vision loss continue to enjoy sports and activities.” He will be available to respond to questions as well. For more information and to sign up, click on the registration link for See What is Possible.
