Treasurer

Description

The Treasurer shall be the principal accounting and financial officer of the Corporation. The treasurer shall have charge of and be responsible for the maintenance of adequate books of account for the Corporation; have charge and custody of all funds and securities of the Corporation, and be responsible, therefore, and for the receipt and disbursement thereof; and perform all the duties incident to the office of treasurer and such other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the Chair or by the Board. If required by the Board, the Treasurer shall give a bond for the faithful discharge of his or her duties in such sum and with such surety or sureties as the Board shall determine.

Ongoing Requirements

  • Manage cash in support of grant-making and business activities, in coordination with RDPFS investment manager
  • Present financial updates at quarterly board meetings
    • Report on budget
    • Statement of Activities
    • Cash
    • Business performance
  • Sign checks

Time Requirements

  • 2-3 hours per month during non-board meeting months
  • 5-6 hours per month for each of the board meeting months
